Dr. Jang has donated a limited number of his book “The GAIA Project 2012 – The Coming Earth Changes” to the Foundation. Julie thought you’d like to know how this came to be:

It’s funny how Dr. Jang’s book came into my hands. Ruth and I were on Lois Berman’s radio show in Brockton and a book, The GAIA Project 2012, lying on her table in front of me, caught my attention. I made a mental note of the name so I could buy a copy. As we put on our coats to leave the studio, Lois handed the book to Ruth saying, “You might like to read this.”

I thought to myself, “That’s my book. I wanted to read that.”

Pulling my car up to Ruth’s house to drop her off, I watched her carry “my book” with her as I said goodbye. Suddenly, she turned around, walked back to the car and handed me the book. “I think you should read this first,” she said smiling.

I have rarely read a book in one sitting and I have never read a book this fast. I felt like I was absorbing pages at a time. As “out there” as the book is, it just felt right to me. I suggested it to Jack, Liz, Ruth, and Francine. Everyone was drawn to it and Francine read it like I did, right through in one sitting.

Months later as we were planning our “Gathering of Healers” event, we began discussing keynote speakers. I said, “Wouldn’t it be cool to get Dr. Jang?” I actually thought he was still a professor at the University Minnesota, so I set out to e-mail him and ask. Going onto his website, I found an e-mail address and composed my invitation. I was totally shocked when I quickly received a reply from a website administrator saying that he was interested. You might think that our discovery of his return to Korea would have discouraged us, but I wasn’t daunted, even when he asked if his partner, who would be an asset to the event, could join him.

So, with the purchase of two round trip airfares from Seoul, Korea to Boston, we had our speaker. I was especially thrilled after many e-mail exchanges to have an opportunity to speak with him on the phone. Soft spoken and humble, I instantly liked him and my excitement mounted.

On the eve of our event, Francine met Dr. Jang and Hyun Jung at the hotel in Plymouth, welcoming them to our corner of the world. She was thrilled, giving them flowers and big hugs. She offered to come back and guide them to the venue later for our dress rehearsal.

That evening when I met them, I was instantly aware of an extra level of excitement on their part. With her demure manner, Hyun Jung immediately went to Ruth. With a subtle confidence, Dr. Jang took me aside. They both told us stories of our connections from other lifetimes, which would later be explained in greater detail. It was obvious to me at that point that our personal encounter was very much meant to be.

The event was perfect and the dinner after was very nice, but the Sunday workshop was the highlight of our experience. Dr. Jang explained much more about the book and shared his personal experiences after writing it. Then Hyun Jung, a highly evolved being, gave each of the workshop attendees great information about their other lifetimes and their connection to the 5 origins. Having several lifetimes with a very close relationship with Dr. Jang myself, and Ruth’s very close connection with Hyun Jung, I knew this was special. Actually, all of us had other lifetime connections. I learned that they had actually been waiting for me to contact them, which explained their immediate positive response.

Currently, Dr. Jang is writing another book with updated information regarding The GAIA Project which should be released the beginning of 2009.
